This species is similar in appearance to C. odontis and Diloma concamerata. It has a dark and relatively flat-spired shell, with thin white bars that can be clearly visible, or can be subtle to the point of being almost invisible. The arrangement of its white markings are what differentiates it from C. odontis, with its yellowish dashes, and D. concamerata with its much thicker white bars.
