Vetigastropod Snails

Vetigastropoda is a primitive and exclusively marine subclass of Gastropods. Vetigastropod snails can often be distinguished by the presence of secondary holes or slits in the shell, but this is not present in all species. This group includes the abalone, keyhole limpets and top snails.
