This undescribed nudibranch is usually found in sheltered rocky areas and tidepools, or under rock ledges. It is a uniform red-orange in colour, with subtle white spots that are slightly raised. The regular spots, but comparatively smooth dorsal surface distinguishes this species from Doriopsilla carneola and Doris chrysoderma, respectively.
