Distribution: SA gulf waters and northern Kangaroo Island

Depth: Intertidal to shallow subtidal
This side-gilled sea slug (pleurobranch) is translucent white to yellow in colour, occasionally with white patches. It has a dark central patch where the digestive gland is visible through the body wall. This blob-like animal is similar to other slug-like gastropods, including lamellarians and some nudibranchs. However, being a pleurobranch, it has neither the anterior siphon nor the visible gills of those animals.
