This small headshield slug has a transparent mantle, with a delicate white internal shell visible inside. It is covered with orange blotches of varying density, as well as occasional white and dark (grey to black) spots and blotches. Occasionally the animal can be almost entirely black, although the orange blotches remain, and are characteristic of the species.
