Habitat: Rocky reef and coast on algae and seagrass

This small snail lives on algae and seagrass from which it grazes on epiphytic algae. It has a transparent shell with up to 9 convex whorls that are marked with large brownish spots and fine lines. It resembles the related Alaba monile in form and habitat, but is much smaller, and the transparent shell and more subdued pattern is distinctive.
