Habitat: Estuaries and seagrass beds on sheltered coasts
Depth: Subtidal
Found in muddy bays and estuaries, this shrimp is very similar to others in its genus. When present, the three red spots on the rear of the abdomen can be used to identify it, but otherwise, it is very difficult to distinguish from other similar species without close inspection.
