Distribution: SA coastal and gulf waters from Port Lincoln to the Coorong
Habitat: Rocky areas and reef under rocks, in association with Ophionereis schayeri
Depth: Lower intertidal to 10+ metres
This distinctive, pale-coloured scale worm can be distinguished by the striking brown colouration on its scales. It is commonly encountered under rocks, almost always in the presence of the brittle star Ophionereis schayeri.
