This flatworm can commonly be found on or around Botrylloides ascidian colonies. It is a reddish colour, with white spots and a yellow margin. It has small marginal tentacles, and a tubular pharynx. It is very similar to Cycloporus australis, but can be distinguished by the larger white/yellow spots on its body. It may require expert examination to differentiate.
