Squids and Octopuses

The class Cephalopoda includes squids, octopuses and cuttlefish. These animals are primarily distinguished by their tentacles, which have evolved from the molluscan foot. Cephalopods are also known for being among the most intelligent invertebrates, able to use tools and solve problems. Many species can expel an inky substance to help escape predators.
